Caitlin Hawekotte
I help people build intentional, fulfilling lives & relationships that are aligned with who they are by shining a light on their greatest strengths & the valuable perspectives they bring to the world.
After working at ice cream shops, restaurants, hotels, a senior center, an architecture firm, a magazine publisher, movie sets, a marketing agency, a production/educational technology company, a university career center, an airline, and as an entrepreneur, I have learned a lot about the importance of being able to communicate personal and professional stories. During that time, I have also studied everything from psychology and counseling to communication and leadership development, earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Leadership Development.
I have spent seven years as a career and leadership coach, working with over 1,000 university students and working professionals to develop resumes, cover letters, and personal statements as well as review personality and strengths assessments to improve self-awareness and inter-office communication. I also currently work as a Training Manager for a local casino and resort in Las Vegas, welcoming hundreds of new employees each month and training leaders on how to improve their leadership skills and communication.
Overall, my mission in life is to help people better understand themselves and others. My hope is that self-awareness leads to emotional intelligence, that self-compassion leads to greater empathy, and that those things continue to reinforce one another in an endless cycle. I firmly believe that an intentional life can lead to a very fulfilling life, and, for me, that intentionality begins with awareness and a shared language for who we all are and why each of us is invaluable.
I would be honored to speak with your team or group about how small increases in self-awareness can not only positively impact our lives and relationships but also create a kinder, more accepting world for all of us.
