Dr. Angelika Selle held the positions of President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA (WFWP USA) and Vice President, North America, of WFWP International for 13 years (2010-2023). She launched the Global Women's Peace Network (GWPN), a project of WFWP International, in all regions of the United States and Canada (2012-2019).Dr. Selle is the recipient of several awards, including the Crown of Peace Award for “Exemplary Leadership in Reconciliation and Peacemaking” given by the Interreligious and International Peace Council based on her racial and religious reconciliation work in the United States, Africa and the Middle East.Earlier in her career, Dr. Selle worked with government officials; held the position of editor-in-chief of two magazines, the German-language Neue Hoffnung and Today’s World; and taught at an elementary school in Maryland. In 2001, Dr. Selle founded the Prayer in Action Ministry (Ministry of Self-Change) and in 2003 the Interfaith Prayer and Fellowship Ministry in Washington, D.C.During her tenure as President of WFWP USA, Dr. Selle focused on the organization’s grassroots development and empowering the next generation of women leaders. She initiated the HerStory Award, a recognition given to ordinary women who accomplish extraordinary things, and also created the Leadership of the Heart and the Bridge of Peace Curricula as tools for transformation and peacebuilding.Internationally, Dr. Selle spoke at several GWPN-related conferences, peace summits and webcasts to promote the feminine type of leadership and the leadership of the heart.Dr. Selle was awarded her Honorary Doctoral Degree by the My Life Theological University in December 2022.Born in Pforzheim, Germany, Dr. Selle studied at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and then followed her personal calling as a peace leader and agent for positive change. Inspired by a universal vision, philosophy of peace Dr. Selle began to work with various organizations founded by them to create a culture of peace.In 1983, Dr. Selle settled in the United States with her husband, Robert Selle, who is from Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Selle is an educator, inspirational speaker, writer, and Global Ambassador for Peace. She and Robert have been married for the last 41 years, and they are the proud parents of four children and have four grandchildren.

She shares with her listeners and viewers, — older and younger — how to put this transformative vision into action based on her own experience and counseling others. Her hope is to affect positive change, especially in the current divorce culture, which is the culprit behind many social ills, and a deterrent for real peace.
