UNBELIEVABLE! Clay changes perspectives on unfathomable stress by using humor and faith that inspires team members to align life priorities for long term happiness.

WHAT YOU GET

Your team is under intense professional and personal stress and needs Enthusiasm, Passion, and Positivity.  Clay delivers that with examples from his life that resonate with every member of the audience, resonating hardships they often don't discuss.  The most common statement audiences make to Clay at the end of his presentations is  "Thank you! I've been through the same thing and thought I was the only one!"

WHY CLAY

The key to managing life is perspective, and as Clay continually points out, happiness is a choice. During Clay’s sessions, the audience silently evaluates their own challenges and walk out with something more valuable than five bullet points of things to do. They leave with their own self-created roadmap to identify options for a life well lived.

With an undergrad in Communications and graduate degree in Marketing, for almost two decades Clay managed two full time careers, one in CPG Sales & Marketing to pay the bills, and the other as a nationally known and Presidential appointed advocate for people with disabilities. Clay and his wife Carole moved to Texas in 1994, where they raised three daughters, including identical twins with severe intellectual disabilities and autism.  A faith-based incident occurred in 2004 which changed Clay’s life forever, providing clarity on his life purpose, to help people with severe disabilities.

In addition to his Vice President level career roles in Fortune 200 companies, Clay was:

  • Appointed by the President of the United States to a healthcare advisory committee in Washington
  • Appointed by the Texas Executive Commissioner of Health & Human Services to Chair the advisory panel for redesigning the state’s support system
  • Served in DE&I leadership for a $6 billion international company
  • Elected Board President of The Arc of Texas and The Arc of Dallas, two multi-million dollar nonprofit agencies
  • Often contacted by legislators, media, nonprofit organizations and parents of children with disabilities to understand the challenges families face

Six months after becoming empty nesters, Carole was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, followed by surgeries and eighteen months of chemotherapy, but ultimately passed away. Another faith-based incident resulted in Clay writing “God’s Plan, Our Circus” and focus his efforts on changing perspectives on challenges, priorities, and achieving happiness.
