John has extensive senior-level experience building and managing market-leading international businesses, ranging from completely new to multibillion dollar P&L’s.
Most recently, he was the Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer for Hurtigruten, the global leader in expedition travel with nearly $700M in non-pandemic annual revenue. Prior to Hurtigruten, John was at Amazon, where he served in leadership roles for Amazon Go, the world’s most advanced shopping technology, and Fulfillment By Amazon. He began his career at Motorola where he had global responsibility for a market-leading Bluetooth wireless headset portfolio of over 20 product lines.
John earned his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology also from Northwestern.
