Hi! I am Rachel and I have extensive experience working with managers to become better coaches and leaders. I love sharing knowledge around people management and team culture. Let's chat!

I have been in the adult training business my whole career. I started as a public educator (high school and college) and then got my "big break" with GoDaddy, where I grew my business chops. Within five years at GoDaddy, I went from an individual contributor role to a senior manager role in the Learning & Development department. Since then, I've been Director of Learning & Development for several other companies. I've had a lot of experience with adult learners! Along the way I've realized a few things that I like to share with others:


  • Managers have the ability to make or break a team 
  • Leadership is a skill that needs to be honed
  • People respond best when you treat them like people
  • There is no substitute for solid coaching
  • Taking risks is part of life, and whether or not they pan out the way you want them to, they're awesome learning tools!

My focus areas are around building exceptional teams, inviting culture, and successful outcomes. I'd love to share my knowledge with you, and learn from you as well!


When not speaking, you can find me reading, traveling, hanging out with dogs, and spending time with people who make my life richer (as I try to do the same for them!).
