Overcoming multiple challenges during the Civil Affairs Qualification course and being told she would have to re-branch back to Adjutant General, she displayed resilience and resourcefulness, securing an unheard of third chance at taking the course and ultimately graduating into the Civil Affairs Corps in March 2018.
After graduating, Yasmine entered the operational force, where her exceptional leadership skills consistently ranked her as the top team leader in her company. She pursued further personal and professional development by completing Survival School, excelling in level 2 combatives, and operating as the CMOC (Civil-Military Operations Center) chief. Additionally, she demonstrated her excellence by graduating as the number one student, passing the rigorous JumpMaster School on her first attempt, ultimatley quaifying her to run airborne operations.
In 2021, Yasmine made the courageous decision to leave the military to prioritize her role as a mother. Utilizing the SkillBridge program, she smoothly transitioned into a successful civilian career in the tech industry.
