Erin Royer
MA, Psych.
CA, USBy revealing powerful truths in our universal human experiences, Erin takes the audience on a journey of self-discovery that empowers them to face each day with new-found courage and tenacity.
Erin believes we as humans possess the most incredible potential. But with only 5.6% of adults setting and actually reaching the goals they set, we are falling way short, accepting mediocrity at work, in our relationships, and our health. As a therapist and coach for the past 12 years, Erin has witnessed how so much of our struggle is self-induced. In helping her clients and in striving for her own goals, Erin wanted to uncover what the 5.6% are doing to overcome their self-doubt, fears, and limiting beliefs that allow them to reach their goals, implement them and guide others to do the same. In her speeches, she shares the universal human experiences that hold us back and the tools to overcome the self that leads to true transformation.
Erin is a lifelong athlete, dreamer, deep-thinker, and pursuer of adventure, who has always been driven to pursue challenges that push her limits, including: backpacking over the continental divide in Colorado and parts of the PCT with only herself and her dog Bambi (the coolest Rottweiler on the planet), completed one full Ironman (140.6 miles - swim 2.4 miles, bike 112, run 26.2) and multiple 70.3 races, even though she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at age 9 and had a double hip replacement in 2017, pursuing a master's degree with an infant while also pregnant with twins and finishing all coursework and intern hours within 18 months, placing 3rd in the Pasadena Rose Bowl 5K just 2 months after her twins were born via c-section, and starting her own business with 3 toddlers in tow. Through it all she has, at times, struggled deeply to overcome her own self-doubt, fears, and limiting beliefs.
