Annalee has helped families navigate aging, family caregiving, dementia progression, and care options for over 28 years.

Annalee has helped families navigate aging, family caregiving, dementia progression, and care options for over 28 years. As a neutral third-party family meeting facilitator, she has helped families come together in care decisions and by teaching improved communication skills, help families across the US work as a team in their loved one’s care journey.

Literally, everything Annalee does is with the mission of improving quality of life and helping families and their aging relative's age as successfully as possible.

Annalee started Care Right Inc, a nationwide consultancy serving families in 2011. Prior, she worked as a social worker, marketing director, and executive director in long-term care communities. Daily, she had families (usually adult kids) coming in to tour the care communities because their aging loved one was soon to be discharged from the hospital. The families had no idea what to look for, or what to ask about during the tours and most families were unable to answer questions about what their loved ones already had in place, such as long-term care insurance, end-of-life wishes, code status, etc. After eighteen years of variations of the same predicaments families presented with, she decided to start Care Right Inc. The mission is to reach families proactively and develop proactive Aging Plans. However, the majority of her clients come to her in crisis mode and usually burned out family caregivers who are often misinformed and making poor decisions. Care Right helps untangle the predicaments the families are in and provides them with a clear path via the Aging Plan.

Annalee also started the Care Right Family Caregiver Solutions Facebook group, providing solutions, tips, support, education, and a sense of community to family caregivers across the world.

Annalee is also working with two international Accreditation firms to create an academy, (ASCA—Aging Strategist Coaching Academy) allowing her robust Aging Strategist training program to be accredited and certify the coaches who go through the academy. Annalee will be the “Tony Robbins of Aging Planning internationally.”

She trains financial advisors across the US in becoming an Elder Planning Specialist, teaching advisors to better identify AND address the needs of their aging clients or those clients who are adult children/family caregivers and burning out.

Annalee also started the Care Crusade, a national campaign to improve the quality of care for our seniors and vulnerable adults. Every single person, family, or senior should have the confidence that they are being properly taken care of by properly trained staff and properly managed healthcare workers. As a professional patient advocate, she is appalled at what she sees happening to our seniors in healthcare. She teaches families how to properly advocate for vulnerable adults.

Annalee also is a sought-after national speaker and podcast guest on aging planning, aging issues, dementia care, improving family communication throughout the aging process, and many other topics.

Annalee’s book, The Invisible Patient: the emotional, financial, and physical toll on family caregivers, can be purchased on Amazon.
