From Nothing to Something. Three goals one dream. Be Inspired!

Hi Friend,

I'm Dennis Blake OLY. It's really wonderful to e-meet you. I'm here with you because I'd love to be a speaker at your next event to share actionable, engaging, and unforgettable tips on "The Will to Win" with the audience. Why me? I'm a professional athlete that have set three simple goals to achieve an Olympic Medal. Plus, I have seen the impact it has on individuals when I share my story.

For the past two decades, I've worked with middle and high school students. Through that work, I have become an expert in motivating and inspiring students, and by extension, by sharing my Olympic experiences, by telling my personal stories, by allowing them to see themselves in me, and by encouraging them to love themselves by helping others. I've spoken to high school graduates, Alumni Banquet, Church Events, Nonprofit Teachers Appreciation Event.

By the end of my session, audience members will walk away saying:

  • "I now know how to create goals to accomplish my dream."
  • "I received clarity from an expert on "The Will to Win."
  • "I'm feeling excited about what's next when it comes to pursuing my goals."

Dennis Blake OLY is a retired male sprinter from Jamaica. He is a two-time Olympian, winning the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Dennis Blake OLY is a former Olympian who hails from the picturesque parish of St Elizabeth, Jamaica. As a young boy, Dennis entertained aspirations of becoming an athlete and had his eyes set on the highest achievement an athlete can achieve - to make it to the Olympics. Coming from humble beginnings, it wasn’t easy to achieve the Olympic dream. However, Blake had one thing on his side, and he knew that if he could harness that, his dream could be a reality.

Blake was fast! He was always the fastest on the track on the primary school sports day. It was this speed that propelled Blake from dreaming to turning that dream into a reality and achieving even more than he had dreamed possible. Blake competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and won silver medal in the 4x400 meter relay at the 1995 Pan American Games in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Blake earned the bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics Games in Atlanta, Georgia, in the 4x400 meter relay, and a silver medal at the 1995 World Athletic Championships. He was inducted in the Alabama A&M University Athletic Hall of Fame; he authored two books.

Blake’s journey from humble beginnings to the top of track and field is an inspiration to all. It stands as a reminder that anything is achievable with hard work and belief in oneself.

Speaking at your next event, as a Certified John Maxwell Speaker is an opportunity, I'm truly passionate and excited about, especially because I've master how to get individuals inspired. I'd love to share more information and hear about ways I can design a speech or keynote that's perfect for the audience.
