Adam Scroggin (born February 25, 1975) is an American software engineer, electrical engineer, and entrepreneur. He is the owner of LFT Software and CardBoard It and owns a large portion of Software Engineering Professionals (SEP).
Adam started as an embedded software engineer and worked for SEP. He worked in the automotive sector designing and building safety critical systems for Allison Transmission, GM, Lexus and Acura. He later moved into medical devices, healthcare and neuroscience working for Abbott, Hospira and Roche Diagnostics. Over two decades, Adam helped turn SEP from a cash flow neutral company to a company making over $25M a year. In 2017, Adam took over a fledgling SaaS company called CardBoard and had created over $1M of NET Income in four short years.
Adam has also created several small software companies including TeamWorks and Telescope App.
Adam's newest venture is called LFT Software and it focuses on ethical AI/ML, healthcare apps and mission critical software.
Adam attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in software engineering and digital signal processing (DSP). He later attended Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis for his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. Adam has an "interdisciplinary" approach to life and also incorporates neuroscience, psychology, linguistics and fitness into his every day learnings.
Adam is an amateur skateboarder. He has been in several skateboard videos with ‘Life After Death’ being his latest. In addition, Scroggin played in the Purdue Jazz band and three college bands while attending Purdue and shortly after. He is an avid studier of history, theology, boxing and linguistics. Adam also coaches and plays soccer in his spare time.
Adam comes from a hard working Irish family who taught him grit and perseverance. He has two daughters that he enjoys raising and spending time with. Adam is Roman Catholic, but also studies other religions including Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism.
