Denise earned a degree in business administration from Texas Women’s University.  She is also a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business, and a licensed Real Estate Broker in both Texas and West Virginia.

Denise is the owner of B & D Imperium, a Real Estate Brokerage/Construction firm licensed in Texas, and West Virginia.

Denise has over 30 years of experience in real estate and property management, and her business certifications include:

• Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

Denise has proven to be a popular speaker as she shares her business and life experiences at numerous investment seminars, including Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad, Poor Dad seminars in 2003 and 2004 and the Changing World Views radio talk show. In addition, she has been a featured speaker on KRLD radio’s Real Estate Investment hour.

Denise’s civic activism began in 2014 when the City of Plano was attacked for adopting a more inclusive Equal Rights Ordinance (ERO). She initiated and spearheaded the successful defense of the City’s ERO, pulling together activists and City supporters from around the community and across the State of Texas.  Denise’s effort was featured in the Dallas Morning News, and her stand against discrimination earned her recognition in Texas Wins. Her work is ongoing as evidenced by the popular Facebook page, People In Support of Equal Rights.

As founder and former president of Collin County Diversity Council, Denise has been the featured speaker at

• Collin County Association of Realtors, Passport 2019 Diversity and Inclusion event.

• Mistress of Ceremonies at the Collin County League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) event

• Mistress of Ceremonies at the Martin Luther King 2015 Plano Community Forum event
