In her latest best-selling book "Greater Fortune: Essential Lessons from the Entrepreneur Who Bought the Company That Fired Her" Marie shares with her readers the power of focus and how to leverage their resilience to build a fortune. Peaking at just 5 feet tall, this Latina Female had no idea she was about to lead an industry; no one would have bet on her and that is where her story flourishes.
Just over a decade ago, Dr. Cosgrove found herself as many people do, a single mother of four children freshly fired from her 'JOB'. The reason she was fired will astonish you, and yet it happens more than we know, Dr. Cosgrove was fired from her sales position because she made too much money in commissions. Instead of being rewarded and edified, she was FIRED without warning or compensation. Imagine a moment when being too good at your job puts your job and family at risk.
Dr. Cosgrove never became bitter; she did not have the time. Instead, she became "Resilient". Marie founded her own company in the highly coveted and male-dominated medical device niche.
