Stepping out of your box builds self confidence.

Anytime I want to try something new in my life, it scares me. I have been in different fields of work such as customer service, law, and medical. The first time I got my CNA ( certified nursing aid) was in 1999. So many of my family told I wouldn't make it. I was a CNA off and on for 16 years. In March 2017 I wanted to be a probation officer, I believe people get second chances so I worked at the county jail for almost two years, took a couple criminal justice classes. In Mid 2018, I moved away, away from my family to Illinois to follow my passion for the film industry. Small town country girl moved to a much bigger city. I was scared yet I kept on pushing myself. I even went to LA ( which was a Huge deal for me) and attended a 3 day workshop.  I got lost lost in downtown LA but didn't stop me. Pandemic hit lost all my jobs, I was a waitress, going to Chicago to be extras on the shows, commercials, at the time. I never stopped learning but now I am back in the medical field saving lives. I think that is my calling in life and I enjoy doing it. I have stepped out of my comfort zone so many times and I have realized it makes me strong and builds my self confidence. Before I moved out of my home state, I wasn't confident I could do anything. I was too worried about what others thought about me. This is my journey. I hope to share my journey with others who may doubt themselves. I have two grown kids.

I have been emotionally beat down told I would never be good enough to accomplish anything, yet I am unstoppable. I have lost a few loved ones including my dad when I was sixteen, two sisters, mom and grandma. I have learned that I don't have to be strong all the time ( I try to do everything on my own.)  Every time I have lost someone I put  myself in work mode but it is okay not to be okay sometimes. Just don't stay in that chapter of your life for long, get back in the game and accomplish what you would like to accomplish in life. So step out of your box and see what you can accomplish. Tell yourself, I am unstoppable.
