Selangor, MALAYSIAWe help you create C.A.S.H. in your Organization (Cultural Affinity for Staff Happiness). You will have a happier workforce; resulting in happier customers; translating to better Business Results!
Hi, my name is Mike Leong, residing in Malaysia.
From a Talent Acquisition/broad-based HR practitioner standpoint, I have 20+ years of extensive HR experience in Talent Acquisition/Talent Development and have had working experiences in mostly multinational companies until 2016.
Since 2016, I started a sole-proprietor business in headhunting, with a recruiting sweet-spot in IT-related role, though I also have broad-based industry experiences in Banking, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Engineering in diverse roles. My humble business received 2 awards in the Asia Recruitment Awards in 2020 for Recruitment Agency of the Year as well as Best New Recruitment Firm.
In 2019, I earned my Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) from IPMA UK, and that's my other avatar as a trainer, and a book author too. For the latter, my book is now at the publisher and will be ready by end March or early April 2023, the book is entitled "One World, One Workplace: Building Positive Cultural Affinity for Global Success".
Mashing recruitment and training (Talent Development - TD), my value proposition to my clients' Leaders and Managers is as follow:
**************
- Imparting to them on how to keep their staff happy and engaged - how they, as Leaders and Managers of organizations, big or small, can build the key elements that make up a positive cultural affinity and to then implement them in their organizations.
- With happier, more committed, and more engaged workforce, they will have happier and an abundance of customers – resulting in their organizations achieving Better Business Results!”
I wish to be able to utilize all these learnings and best practices I picked up and honed all these years, and to be able to help my clients' organizations achieved the next level in terms of curbing staff turnover, increasing employee engagement, and creating that positivity that sustain talents with the organization.
**************
Professionally, I call myself a GLOBAL GROWTH HUNTER. Why, you may ask?
In Latin, the word recruit means "grow again" (recrescere) - "again" (re) and "grow" (crescere). Over time, the word morphed to become "recrute" in French, and to its current form of "recruit" in the mid-17th century to predominantly refer to enlisting fresh body of troops into the military.
Using plants as metaphors, as a GLOBAL GROWTH HUNTER, I help to transfer and nurture these plants from their current pots, to bigger new pots and in more fertile climatic environments which will further enhance their growth. In the real world, these plants i.e. the new hires will be nurtured within the clients' environments, have clear career paths, and they would journey through positive professional growth and development. With the fertile climatic environments, these journeys help to create happier, committed and more engaged workforce. Overall, organizations will achieve better business results ultimately.
Through my solid Practitioner lenses for my Clients, I have derived a 3-step Cultural Transformation Strategy that helps them achieve Staff Happiness – by using his self-developed natural and organic C.A.S.H.** Methodology, and not using any monetary strategies. With Staff Happiness achieved, clients will have happier, committed and more engaged workforces; which result in them having happier and an abundance of customers and they would most definitely achieve better Business Results!
The end results of this Cultural Transformation for clients are:
- Optimized processes for Talent Acquisition & Talent Development
- Positive engagement and experiences for External Talents and Staff
- Natural and organic Employer Branding and Talent Attraction Strategy
- Consistent and repeatable capabilities of hiring the Best Talents
- High-performance and Sustainable Culture
And as Sir Richard Branson famously said:
"Clients do not come first. Your staff come first. If you take care of your staff, they will take care of your clients."

Level 1: Conducting an Effective Job Interview
Challenges Solved:
Interviewing: the art of understanding who you should hire as your future employees.
The above is easier said than done. If your organization is depending on the "gut-feel" of your hiring managers to hire your "best" future employees, then you are putting the future of your organization at stake.
Or if you have just promoted your superstar technical employee to be a first-time...
Level 2: Interviewing for Cultural Affinity Using Structured Interview Process
Challenges Solved:
Staff turnover can be solved once Clients achieved Staff Happiness; because staff leave due to them not being happy and/or non-positive cultural environment in their organizations.
I help Clients create C.A.S.H. (Cultural Affinity for Staff Happiness) in their Organizations! With C.A.S.H., they will have a happier, committed and more engaged workforce; which results in them having happier and more...
Level 3: Building Highly Engaged Staff With Cultural Affinity (Transformational)
Challenges Solved:
Two of the top-most reasons why staff leave organizations are that:
1) They are disengaged
Very commonly, organizations, both local as well as global, have staff who are either Actively Disengaged or Not Engaged at all, which represents 85% of the total staff population in any organizations worldwide. Sadly, only 15% of staff are Highly Engaged!
