Mr. William Hughes is the owner/executive director of Leading Eagles LLC since 2016. A retired U.S. Marine Corps colonel, he has extensive experience in leadership and consulting roles in his civilian career, including serving as a Marine commander of artillery and for nearly 10 years as a non-profit membership association CEO.   A sought-after mentor to many, he has conducted leadership training, coaching, mentoring, and consulting for individuals and organizations in both the military and civilian sectors.


Mr. Hughes speaks primarily on personal development and personal and team leadership based on his extensive experience leading organizations.  He can effectively deliver a number of proprietary tools, such as speaker, coach, and trainer workshops, masterclass discussion programs, workshops, in leadership, communications, and sales training. 


His leadership experience is enriched by his work in marketing, advertising, strategic communication, branding, public relations, diversity, strategic planning, and concept development roles among others.


A husband and father of two.  His favorite role is being Papa to his three grandchildren, Liam (8), Luna (5), and Lila (>1).  When not working on his personal development, he likes to golf, train and supervise ice hockey officials, and serve as an off-ice official for the National Hockey League.
