Brian helps business owners and leaders in service-based industries solve their employee and leadership team problems so they can establish effective controls, delegate decisions rather than tasks, and focus on growth.

Guiding those he serves with the knowledge and clarity which can only be gained through the experience of starting, scaling, and selling a multi-million-dollar, service-based business, Brian helps his clients avoid the monetary and psychological setbacks which result from making costly mistakes.

Brian does not speak on or teach anything he does not have direct experience with. You are not going to hear theoretical ideas. You will only hear proven, practical strategies which he has personally implemented himself and which his clients have also benefitted from.

Today, many business owners, managers, and leaders regularly find themselves asking questions like:

  • “Why don’t my employees ‘get it’, even after I’ve told them what needs to be done dozens of times?”
  • “How can I get my team to a place where I can trust them to make good decisions so I can focus on what I should be doing?”
  • “If any of my key players left, I’d be worse off than I already am now! How can I possibly hold them accountable?”
  • “Why can’t prospective customers see that our company really is better than our competition?”
  • “How do I know what marketing message will work for my business?”
  • “Why is it that we solve a problem, and then a few months later we are facing the very same problem, as if we had never addressed it in the first place?”
  • “How can we find talent in this crazy labor market?”

Brian helps business owners and leaders diagnose what is causing the problems they are facing in their companies so they can make immediate improvements. Here is one comment from a recent presentation:

“I recently went to a conference for an entire day and didn’t feel like I had any takeaways or action steps to implement, and it was a bummer. Brian’s 30 minutes was packed with great stuff and very useful information that can change or refresh everyone’s perspective. He was so well prepared and relatable. It was great!

Starting his leadership career as a supervisor with no meaningful people management, leadership, or business skills, Brian has been blessed with fantastic mentors, as well as a career path which taught him highly effective skills in many areas, including:

  • Leadership, team building, and employee management
  • Developing and teaching superior customer experience techniques
  • Business scaling and growth
  • Process improvement
  • Accounting and financial performance

Learning these vital skills transformed his life and career path, and now he teaches them to business owners and others in leadership roles so they can make significant progress towards their goals and overcome challenges they are facing.

These insights and knowledge led Brian to various successful roles and accomplishments in his career.

  • In 2007, he was the youngest General Manager in the U.S. for a nationwide service company at age 33, where he led a team of over 60 in a branch bringing in over $8MM per year in revenue.
  • In 2011, Brian and 2 partners founded their business which, in less than 10 years grew to over 50 employees, with a fleet of over 45 vehicles, invoicing over 9,000 jobs per year – averaging an annual growth rate of 38%.
  • In 2020, he founded Service Industry Success, a mentoring and training program to guide business owners in service industries along their own business ownership journey. Brian and others also completed a project where Brian wrote significant amounts of legislation which later became Washington State law.
  • In 2021, he sold his shares of 4 companies and began consulting full time. Brian’s book – Service Industry Success – was also released shortly after.
