Originally from the Deep South State of Louisiana, Trent is passionate, optimistic Southern gentleman!  He is a world traveler and small business international entrepreneur that introduced, owned and operated a kettle corn manufacturing business in New Zealand over fourteen years.  He handed over the reins to the new owner as of February, 2024.    

Trent is also a 3x terminal cancer overcomer.  Hip cancer left him with the physical challenge of his left leg four inches shorter than the right.  Lung and then pancreatic cancer with less than a 5% chance to survive.  He changed his diet, exercise routine, mental and spiritual outlook even though five specialists told him he would not recover and given a year to live.  Trent is grateful that he recently hit a milestone of two and a half years cancer free. 

He has used a wheelchair or crutches almost five years.  Currently he is a patient with Mayo Clinic on a surgical plan with multiple procedures spanning a few years that will return the four inches to him.  This is a fully customized, most complex, largest hip implant with never-done-before procedures that will be published in medical journals.

Trent's new found purpose is to share his journey to give inspiration and hope to others that they too can overcome impossible obstacles in their lives.

Trent is a JMT (John Maxwell Team) certified inspirational speaker and life/cancer journey coach.  He recently became a best selling author with the book, "Breaking the Silence:  Voices of Survivors."
