Abeer Qumsieh is the Founder and CEO of Better Business, a management consulting firm specializing in capacity building and human capital development since 2003. Abeer is also the Founder and CEO of Khibraty, an online marketplace providing expertise seekers (startups and SME's) with expertise providers (consultants and experts) serving the Middle East and GCC area. She is an expert in Organizational T ransformation and Corporate Culture Development. She believes in the utmost importance to expand the set of capabilities of each individual, and their transformation, always working on influencing corporate cultures collaboratively assessing the needs as an entrepreneur, an investor, a strategist, a motivational speaker, and a team builder. Abeer serves on several prominent business boards, among them is the Global Entrepreneurship Organization EO, on the Global Board Leadership Committee. She is a certified Board Director (by the IFC) and currently a board member on Universal Modern Industries Co. for edible oil and on Elia Nuqul Foundation. She is on the Advisory board of Iman Early Learning Center, Alchemist Lab and Hello World Kids. She is one of the founding members of the Entrepreneurs Organization Jordan Chapter where she served on the local board for three consecutive years. She is a member of the International Women Forum and the Business and Professional Women Association. She served on lnjaz Board of directors as well as the board of trustees for over ten years. In recognition of Abeer's contribution to the entrepreneurship scene and her dedication and excellence in converting her passion to profession, she was awarded several awards. Among them is the Earnest and Young Jordan for Entrepreneur of the year finalist award. She also received the International Leadership Award "Power to Make a Difference "from Finland by the International Business and Professional Women Association Global and received the International Entrepreneurship Challenge Award from China by the International Women Entrepreneurship Challenge. Abeer focuses her philanthropic work on aiding women and youth to become business leaders in different industries, with the belief that women and youth are the future of the workforce when given adequate learning and development. She is continuously hosted as a speaker in many conferences and business events regionally talking about empowerment, business excellence, business pivoting, customer centricity, and employee engagement. During the pandemic, utilizing her strong ability to stay positive amid negative situations Abeer launched BB Talks of fering open dialogue with capacity-building opportunities to the business community as well as women and youth across Jordan and the middle east through on line engaging talks tackling business challenges where she hosted influential figures while impacting thousands of audiences. Abeer is a natural passionate leader who focuses on high integrity, initiative and results-driven work ethic encouraging teams by being persistent and flexible in achieving business goals for stakeholders, staff, suppliers, and customers to lead organizations into transformational change. Abeer is an investor in several startups, and supports and mentors tens of founders. She is married and a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, raising her daughters to overcome challenges building agility and ability to handle complex situations. She encourages them to be adventurous as she has embarked on several adventures including climbing to Everest base camp in the fight against Cancer supporting the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
