Andy Bailey

Andy Bailey can cut through organizational BS faster than a hot knife through butter, showing organizations the logjams thwarting their success and coaching them past the excuses we all use to avoid doing what needs to be done. He doesn't ask for what's easy, only what's possible, and with his assistance the possible often expands to include the formerly impossible, as organizations learn that one step at a time gets you a long way when you step up to the challenge everyday. After all, as he tells his clients, 100% annual growth is only 2% growth every week. It's not easy. But certainly possible. Andy learned to build great organizations by building his own great businesses, starting in college then, growing into an Inc. 500 multi-million dollar national company then successfully selling and exiting. He founded Petra Coach in partnership with Gazelles/ScalingUp to pass on to other entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders the principles and practices he used to build his successful enterprises - all rooted in the Rockefeller Habits methodology. To date, Andy has been on the sell-side of 28 transactions with a median sale value in the nine figures.

In addition to building successful companies, Andy has served as the Global Membership Director for the Entrepreneurs' Organization, encompassing 140+ chapters worldwide. He is a two-time finalist for Nashville Executive of the Year and has been honored as Nashville's Volunteer of the Year. He regularly speaks to groups of business leaders and to date has personally completed over 1,000 days of direct work with teams, with the greater Petra team clocking over 4,000 days collectively. He is a frequent guest speaker within the Young Professionals Organization and annually speaks to entrepreneurs and company leaders at MIT.

Personal Highlights

Andy Bailey lives in Brentwood TN, just south of Nashville, but he spends the majority of his time fueling his love for the adventurous outdoors. He finds passion in overcoming the mental and pushing through the physical with marathons and obstacle races, camping, and climbing 14'ers out West - with a personal goal to complete all 50 high points in the United States.

Though both are out of the house, Andy's daughters remain the loves of his life. His eldest, Madison lives in New York City where she works as a personal trainer and kickboxing instructor while pursuing acting. Youngest Gracen is a senior at Loyola, where she recently led her volleyball team to the conference championship as captain.
At the end of the day, Andy's mantra (which you'll find tattooed on his side) is to Think Big, Be Grateful, and Love Hard.
