bio: Involved in student leadership for nearly 10 years, Patrick offers inspiration and practical advice for student leadership organizations and school assemblies. Patrick served as a student leader while in middle school, high school, and college. He is recipient of the Miami Herald's Silver Knight Award for speech and was elected the University of West Alabama's Senator-at-Large. As one of the youngest professional speakers in America, Patrick showcased for the National Association of Student Councils. Since then, he has presented for many state leadership organizations. Patrick uses his strong leadership background to create and conduct insightful programs. Through his personal and sincere approach to delivering a message, Patrick will open the eyes, ears and hearts of young people across America. programs: Monsters in Your Closet / Swallow Your Pride (youth) Patrick helps students see through their fears, whether real or imagined and encourages them to believe in themselves. The Penthouse of Leadership (youth) Patrick uses true situations to teach students that they can make a difference and they can succeed. He concentrates on risk taking, positive thinking and goal setting. I Choose to Participate (youth) Patrick addresses staying positive and choosing to make a difference, choosing to care about other people, and choosing to participate in the "thing" called LEADERSHIP. Student Leaders Listen Up! (youth workshop) Patrick discusses how to improve a council's performance and how to move from being "I" to being a team. The question, "How important do you think you are?" is the focus of this workshop. Patrick has students looking at themselves as individuals and as leaders.
