She uses her gifts to help people build successful relationships, families and businesses. With almost 30 years experience as a successful business leader, LaNissir is happy to join the ranks as an independent Certified Coach, Teacher, Trainer and Speaker with the John Maxwell Team with a passion to encourage the best in others while adding value to their lives.

LaNissir is the author of Mom's Manual: Life Doesn't Come with a Manual, it Comes with a Mom where she inspires parents to creating an organizational strategy to bring JOY to the world's most important responsibility - Motherhood! With a degree in journalism, LaNissir loves to write and she is working on writing three more books that our dear to her heart, Mom's Prayer Journal, Mom Personality and Joyful Mother of Children.

LaNissir celebrates 26 years as the wife of Lorenzo James and homeschooling mom of 7 kids: 5 girls and 2 boys from 24 to 6 years old. The James family just added two new family members: Lennox & Luna, their newborn Malshipoo puppies! LaNissir is an intentional mother who enjoys building relationships with her children, with a focus on leaving a legacy. The entire James family has the same initials, so they call themselves the "LJ" family. The oldest daughter finished her Bachelor's degree and the second daughter is currently in college. The other five kids enjoy homeschooling from high school to pre-school. It's never a dull moment in the James Party of 11! As new RV owners, they have added Roadschooling as one of their life's favorite things.

With almost 30 years as a business leader her passion is to equip business owners to lead and grow their businesses while adding value to their communities. LaNissir serves many families in the home-educating community both locally and nationwide. She provides social, spiritual, academic, and supervisory support for families who choose to homeschool their children. Her expertise center around equipping students to transition into colleges, careers, and vocational schools. She recently expanded her reach by joining a team of nationwide Educational Consultants.

LaNissir earned her Bachelor's Degree in journalism from the University of Maryland College Park and spent several years working for NBC News on the Today Show. She is also pursuing a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies.
