Brad Timberlake
Life's like a three-ring circus, no doubt. So, put your group's growth and success in the center ring today! Inspire and entertain them with leadership lessons learned by a real-life corporate clown.
Brad Timberlake’s desire and capacity to add value to others is fueled by more than forty years of life’s lessons and over twenty years of professional experience.
With a colorful background that includes things like shoveling elephant poo and climbing corporate ladders, Brad has learned a lesson or two about not just “stepping in it” but also “stepping up” to reach new heights and move beyond current circumstances.
Having had his share of successes and failures, he prefers success and finds fulfillment in helping individuals, families, teams, and organizations clearly identify and overcome the obstacles that hold them back from achieving their own vision of success. In particular, Brad is passionate about serving those who are committed to growth in the areas of personal finance and leadership development – especially those who embrace the truth that today’s actions influence tomorrow’s results.
Paying no mind to any other choice words possibly used over time, Brad has been described as a good listener, a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and a thoughtful educator. With an attentive ear and a curious mind, Brad is careful and collaborative as he supports others through new opportunities and challenges.
#####
Brad Timberlake practically began his career in the live entertainment business at birth. As the offspring of a multi-generational circus family, he has traveled with a number of different shows (including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®) and has held various jobs from clown to cotton candy vendor to elephant groom to executive management.
Brad's parents instilled in him the importance of a formal education; and as such, he divided his youth between attending public school during traditional terms and then traveling with and working on shows over the summers and holiday breaks. Brad became the first member of his family to attend college and subsequently graduate with a degree. Immediately following his time at Indiana University, Brad pursued his continued interests and fascinations in the business and advertising side of the circus as an Event Marketing & Sales Manager with Feld Entertainment.
During his 20 year journey with the world's leading producer of live family entertainment and action sports, Brad has successfully led the marketing and sales efforts of numerous Feld Legacy and Feld Motor Sports events, including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®, Disney Live!, Disney On Ice, Marvel Universe Live, Jurassic World Live Tour, Sesame Street Live!, Doodlebops Live!, Monster Jam, Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Amsoil Arenacross, Nuclear Cowboyz, and Nitro Jam, across various territories throughout the United States. He has a proven track record of growing the business in terms of branding, increasing ticket sales, generating revenue, building relationships, and building effective teams that get the job done.
As a Manager, a Director, and then a Vice President within the organization, Brad genuinely appreciated the importance of and was committed to sound leadership principles while creating an environment that encourages – among many other qualities – respect for others, communication, creativity, strategy, dedication, risk taking, learning, and growth.
Following a heartbreaking end to an illustrious career in live entertainment at the hands of a global pandemic, Brad took stock of the new world around him as well as all he had experienced and learned up to that point and decided to make the leap to fledgling entrepreneur - starting over in a completely new and different industry. Born from that move was Clear Spring Management - a company whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing significant financial challenges related to real estate ownership, allowing them opportunities to reshape their legacies. In the worthwhile pursuit of adding value to others, Brad continues to embrace the ongoing trials and tribulations of building a business from scratch. From casting vision to designing systems and structure to money management, he understands why many folks pack it in or fall by the wayside. Without the right mindset and mentoring in his stable, he's sure to have been one of them. Instead, each day, he looks forward to overcoming his own challenges while helping others move beyond their current circumstances.
Being a John C. Maxwell certified coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker as well as a Ramsey Solutions Financial Coach, Brad has studied and has license to some of the best and most respected materials on the market today in regards to leadership development and personal finance. Always one to value the education process throughout his professional career, Brad has continued to research and apply learnings across a variety of disciplines from marketing to sales, negotiation, behavioral analysis, time management, leadership, talent development, communication, teamwork, parenting, and a host of others. Furthermore in recent years, Brad has had the honor of working directly with the University of South Carolina's top ranked Department of Sport and Entertainment Management – serving as a corporate liaison, recruiting specialist, guest lecturer, instructor, and adjunct faculty member – with the mission of preparing the next generation of live event promoters and professionals. Additionally, Brad has been an active member of his local community, serving as a district representative within his neighborhood association, as an officer for his area Toastmasters club, and as a volunteer and ministry leader for his congregation.
Brad currently resides in and offices out of the South Central Indiana area, where he enjoys his very own three-ring circus with his wife and three young children while enthusiastically working - among other places mentioned - under the "big top" of Center Ring Solutions, a personal growth & leadership development company dedicated to sharing with individuals, teams, and organizations the keys of creating, growing, and sustaining successful lives and businesses.
