Dr. Felton retired from the United States Air Force with over 30 years of honorable service in the position of Command Chief Master Sergeant from the 14th Flying Training Wing, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. In this position, she was the highest ranked enlisted member reporting directly to the Wing Commander as his key advisor. She was also the First African American female to be selected for this position. In this role, she advised the wing commander on mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, utilization, and health, morale and welfare.
As the founder and CEO of Accentuate Life Ministries and Felton Consulting Group, she is a highly sought-after executive coach and leadership educator. She has had the privilege of working with senior leaders in virtually every industry. Dr. Felton is a Civil Service Commissioner. In this role, she increases the efficiency and consistency of the governmental departments in the community. She is a board member on several influential organizations that promote local and global philanthropy to improve and impact the quality of life of citizens. A catalyst for hope, she volunteered to be the chairperson for the Mississippi Prevention Alliance for Communities and Colleges (mPACC). In this position, she provides strategic oversight over the coalition to ensure public awareness to reduce underage drinking and prescription drug abuse. Finally, she is a credentialed Chaplain.
Among her awards she has earned the Legion of Merit Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism and Iraq Campaign Medal, Tuskegee Airman Award, and most notably the 19th First Sergeant of the Year Award for the Air Force. Other accolades include the Distinguished Graduate Award, Military Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award, Air Intelligence Agency Military Ambassador, Most Outstanding Woman of the Year Award from the Governor Bureau of Guam in addition to numerous other awards.
She is living a life pouring out with service and significance, and it is her desire to move people, organizations, and businesses from where they are to where they want to be.
