Where did Jeff's inspiration, motivation, dedication, his vision, living with passion and purpose, a lifelong learner, a leader by example, walking in humility, and a servant leader come from?
- Jeff was born and raised in the woods in DeBerry, Texas in a family of 12 kids without electricity, no running water, no indoor plumbing, no car, no TV, no phone, he plowed with a mule, raised all their food (vegetables, chickens, and hogs), attended segregated schools until the 7th grade, Jeff's father was illiterate, and he signed Jeff's birthday certificate with the letter X. Jeff's family had a 50% high school graduation rate (glass half full).
- Jeff is an overcomer, committed to serving others, dedicated to developing himself to develop others. Jeff has five college degrees and pursuing his doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. Professor Jeff facilitated leadership and communcation courses for the University of Phoenix from January 2003 until June 2023.
- Jeff served in the United States Air Force for 25.5 years in key leadership roles, serving, leading and inspiring diverse teams to reach their full potential. He married his high school sweetheart (Pat) in March 1977. They have two daughters: Dr. Katrina Willie-Musoma (Pediatrician), Ursula Willie (Attorney) and two grandchildren.
- Jeff is a life-time member of Rotary International, Committee Member and Facilitator of America's Dinner Table...organizations mission is improving the life of those in the community and community engagement, 'One Conversation/One Dinner at a Time'.
