What is it I actually do?

I help busy females de-stress, overcome anxiety and live a happier, more fulfilling life by introducing them to music & the violin.

It's no secret that taking up a mindfulness practice such as yoga, meditation and exercise can benefit our mental health, but I wonder how many people have considered learning a musical instrument like the violin?

As a a violinist myself for over 20 years and a teacher for 13, I have always been aware of the plethora of benefits playing a musical instrument boasts, but I decided to do some research. Here are just some of the benefits...

Benefits of learning an instrument like the violin

1. It can ground you and give you something positive to focus on, even when you feel like your world has been turned upside down.
2. It can help to improve your self-confidence (achieving your goals in your practice sessions can help you to feel accomplished).
3. It can improve your social skills (joining an amateur orchestra can help you to get out there and meet new people who all share the same interests as you do).
4. It's good for your brain! Research has shown that learning an instrument like the violin & learning to read music helps to improve our memories, concentration levels and boost creativity and productivity in all areas of our lives.

And this is where I can help!

I decided that for anyone who had ever suffered from mental exhaustion, burnout, stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, feelings of unworthiness, or for anyone just looking to inject more MEANING, JOY & CREATIVITY into their lives, I would offer a solution. And that solution would be learning to play the violin for just 15 minutes a day.

Who says you have to become a concert violinist to enjoy playing the violin?
