Karen-EIleen Gordon

Karen-Eileen Gordon was voted "One of the Ten Funniest People!" at Harvard by her peers, thanks to her daily-changing outgoing comedic answering machine messages. A lover of "all things speaking" from an early age, as a tot, she often wandered around her South Florida home with a giant green hairbrush used as a microphone—speaking into mirrors in improvised babble (which she KNEW was Spanish), pretending to be a Latinx television news anchor (many moons later—she actually speaks both Spanish and French, and works in those languages).

A mega-multi-hyphenate (Speaker, Workshop Leader, Writer, Wellness Goddess, Actor, Voiceover Artist/Coach), Karen-Eileen stepped memorably into public entertainment awareness with her completely improvised on-camera turn in the smash HBO comedy, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" opposite Larry David. She is known to television audiences for her two-season Series Regular role on the STARZ Original Drama, "Magic City" as 1959 sassy New York Dame Florence Greenhouse—right-hand goddess to that show's leading man, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Karen-Eileen is a proud member of two of the oldest and most revered actor unions in the world, SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity (AEA), as well as a long-time Member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the folks who bring us the glorious Emmy Awards). Many talks, workshops, breakouts, coachings and acting roles later...she continues to win global fans.

Karen-Eileen's mighty passions are balanced between two worlds: the Wellness World, and the Entertainment World. She finds great joy helping fellow humans to find their unique magic, and thrive while doing so. In that spirit, she Keynotes/Workshops on "Radical Self-Care," sharing instantly-useable toolkits to assist humans to bloom on their journeys, especially in challenging times and situations. Karen-Eileen is a life-long meditator and energy worker, and a long-time practitioner of the Japanese healing art of Reiki, as well as Restorative Hatha Yoga.

The Voice-Over Universe is Karen-Eileen's first performance love. Chosen among hundreds of applicants, she was selected multiple times to be both Speaker and Workshop Leader at the largest voiceover conference in the United States, Voiceover Atlanta. She's an active Audiobook Narrator/Producer for Authors and Rights Holders in both the US and UK. Over the course of her 10+ year career, she has also voiced 100s of commercials—and works happily in the animation, narration and IVR fields. (Her nephews awarded her some coolness points for being cast in the Rockstar Games video game, "Grand Theft Auto V," bringing multiple characters to life—improvising as requested by Producers in Mexican-American Spanglish.)

Karen-Eileen adores using her performance skills and savvy to empower audiences, ranging from helping professional speakers be more comfortable on a stage or in a Zoom event...to assisting corporate groups-of-humans to step into their authentic powerful voices (literally and figuratively), to helping authors and speakers launch thriving voiceover careers, bringing their messages to the on-fire audiobook, podcast and eNewsletter markets. (A special superpower: Karen-Eileen leads both 1-on-1 and group workshops on exactly how to set up a Professional Home Voiceover Studio that produces broadcast-quality files...clients tell her she has a special gift for simplifying the often-intimidating galaxy of voiceover tech!)

She truly loves coaching/consulting. She is a Senior Instructress for the award-winning voiceover curriculum VOHeroes.com, a Los Angeles-based, online, full-year vo training program. She has a thriving coaching and consulting practice, working with both individuals and corporations.

Karen-Eileen is happiest whenever bringing authentic stories to life (her own and those of her audiences/clients), with the aim of empowering, uplifting and illuminating in the process. She is thrilled to be part of the NSA and FSA families.
