• Developing leaders through individual coaching engagements and group leadership programs
• Designing, developing, and delivering training programs and related materials
• Performing organizational assessments

Risa serves a variety of industries, including technology, non-profit, pharmaceutical, media, and financial services. She is known for her organizational proficiency, communication skills, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.

Risa's expertise is grounded in experience. Her HR career started at Nielsen Claritas (part of Nielsen Media) when she saw a need for a staff development program and took the initiative to pitch the idea to senior management. Risa's program was approved, and she was quickly promoted to Manager of Learning and Development where she created and implemented a learning strategy for the organization.

From there, she moved to Wolters Kluwer, a global information services organization, where she was promoted into progressively more challenging and strategic Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Talent Management roles. In these positions she developed leadership programs, managed talent management initiatives, designed organization re-designs, and coached leaders and high potentials.

In her most recent organizational role, she held a Learning & Organizational Development position at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a high growth biotech/pharmaceutical organization. In this role, she managed a high potential program, overhauled onboarding, managed performance management, and coached leaders.

Risa has spoken and facilitated interactive exercises on mentoring and leadership development at several organizational conferences. Risa obtained her graduate degree in Business Education (Learning and Development) from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Washington University's John M.
