Using magic, story telling and audience participation, Julie delivers an elementary school "proud to be drug-free" presentation teaching younger students how to make friends, like themselves and help others while taking the time to think about their choices. Ruby's Story - "Getting Drunk Almost Killed Me" (middle school & secondary) In this sensitive and informative talk, Julie combines the tools for being a leader of ones own life with the heartbreak a mother experiences when she finds her teenage daughter passed out, face down without a pulse. A true story about her 13 year old daughter Ruby, a proud to be drug-free champion gymnast, who nearly died from accidental alcohol poisoning after breaking up with her boyfriend. Ruby's message - don't drink!
