Tad Starsiak

US
Project Manager - Television Personality

Thadeus, lovingly called Tad, on HGTV's hit show Good Bones was born on the Westside of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is among the proudest of Hoosiers and loves his Indiana roots. When Tad was twelve years old, he lost his mother to drug addiction. The years that followed were dark until he found several outlets to let the light back into his life. This included demolition and construction, thanks to his stepfather, Leonard. At the age of 17, Tad got his first construction job and has since found a sense of cathartic release through manual labor, and the energy it extolled from him. It is from that mindset that he continued to expand his construction experience from demolition to framing, cabinet install, flooring, tile, etc. Along with a strong work ethic, Tad has always believed that being a kind, compassionate person can get one the furthest in life. It is his free-spirited nature that has made him a popular fixture on HGTV's hit show Good Bones, pulling in 13 million views each season and now filming season 6. At the ripe age of 25, he has also been featured on HGTV's digital series Small Space, Big Potential, and HGTV's Rock the Block.
