Naully Nicolas
Since my childhood, I grew up around books, and I have to thank my father who gave me the taste for it. I remember leafing through history books without really understanding them. During my teenage years, I spent my free time, during and after school, at the library. My favorite section was, of course, history and geography. I am convinced that in another universe I would make a wonderful history teacher, passionate about antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. I have a certain fascination for Napoleon and the Napoleonic Wars, because of the definite historical link between Napoleon and my home country, Haiti.
Failing to embrace a career as a history teacher or an archaeologist, I chose the one that oriented me in the field of computer science. A 15-year career that brought me initially in multinational environments such as Thomson Reuters, Syz, and Société Générale. I also had the opportunity to work in public administrations for the State of Vaud and Geneva.
My professional career has been enriched by several experiences in non-governmental organizations such as the World Trade Organization (WTO), the International Labour Office (ILO), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). More recently, I worked in the luxury sector for Vacheron Constantin. From office support to IT project management to digital marketing, I did almost everything, and thanks to that, I learned the ins and outs of the digital world.
Currently, I work as a consultant in the IT field and also in the digital field to advise CEOs - with curious minds - who want to be "digital stoic" in their approach to digital transformation. They want actionable insights to be able to deal with disruptions of all kinds.
