Darren Keefe is one of the faces of HGTV's reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Darren is seen as one of three in the ultra-talented team of new designers on HGTV's #1 show that premiered to 2.1 M viewers. Born in Northern Ireland to a long line of Irish craftsmen and farmers, Keefe first developed his love for woodworking after building a Pinewood Derby Racer with his father. Darren comes from humble beginnings in the Midwest; as a teenager he assisted a local contractor, where he learned the basics of building. He began to develop his expertise further after he left the Midwest to pursue a career in film and television in Los Angeles, where carpentry and craftsmanship became his "means of survival." Having worked on television series like 'Lost', "Sons of Anarchy' and 'NCIS', Keefe also worked with a local contractor specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodels, where he found himself inspired by the design process; the layout of the room and the finishing touches. Out of this passion, Darren's company Drumcree Designs was born. Much to the chagrin of his neighbors, the business started out in the front lawn of his apartment complex, but he quickly moved his operation into a workshop in downtown Los Angeles. Drumcree Designs centers around Darren's passion for design and custom fabrication, and his craftsmanship skills range from welding to fine woodworking. Drumcree Designs clients include local businesses, interior designers and celebrities who commission one-of-a-kind, handcrafted furniture pieces.
