Amy (Smart) Oosterhouse, best known for being an actress, started her career as a young teenager and is known for films like Varsity Blues, Just Friends, Rat Race, The Butterfly Effect, Crank, Starsky and Hutch, The Single Moms Club and TV shows like Felicity, Scrubs, Shameless and Justified. But she has also been actively involved with environmental issues since she was 18yrs old, volunteering with Heal the Bay, and then serving on their board along with Environmental Media Association for the last 17 years. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and got certified as a Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is very passionate about the environment and giving back when she can. Currently, she is filming the DC comics TV series Stargirl and is the founder of the eco-friendly home brand SmartHouse Collections.
