Wanted to let you know how impressed we all were with your wonderful presentation at our Spirit of Leadership Event in Las Vegas. It was perfect for our group as our mission is to support each other and your message confirmed that perfectly. . . . I finished reading your first book and want you to know that I cried myself to sleep. It is a beautiful and touching family story and I cannot believe all you accomplished with your life ...in spite of all your responsibilities. AND you came through it all looking so great! What a terrific role model you are.

It was a real pleasure meeting you Saturday night at the WAAI event in Las Vegas. Thank you for the two books you gave me and for the inspirational talk you presented to the group. You are quite a lady and your life's story is truly remarkable. I'm passing your story along to my Northwood University colleague who directs our Distinguished Women's Awards program, a program through which the university has recognized women's achievements since 1970. From what I've learned about you so far, I think you would be a perfect nominee for this award. Thanks again for sharing your story. I'm sure having Elvis as a cousin has added to the fun of all your touring!

I recently heard Edie Hand speak at the Women's Automotive Association International Dinner in Las Vegas. Her presentation touched the audience on so many levels. We laughed with her when impersonating Phyllis Diller, and got misty eyed when she spoke about her personal challenges and how she and other women overcame adversity to reach great levels of success. It was one of the best evenings of my life.
