Andy Freire is an entrepreneur in both business and social realms. After working at Procter & Gamble, he co-founded and led Officenet, a company that revolutionized the industry of office-supply distribution in Latin America, growing from one to almost a thousand employees in a 4-year span and becoming a Harvard Business School case study, "Officenet: how to make entrepreneurship work in Argentina". Andy's endeavors as an entrepreneur began at an early age; he co-created Fundación Iniciativa to promote leadership among Latin American youth when he was just 18.
Andy Freire is the co-founder and CEO of Axialent. He is an inspired entrepreneur in both business and social realms. Andy successfully built his business and created the leading business to business e-commerce platform in Latin America. He was chosen as "Young Global Leader 2008" by the World Economic Forum. He is the Chairman of Endeavor Foundation in Argentina and is also member of the board of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) chapter in Argentina.
Andy Freire has appeared several times on CNN as an "expert entrepreneur". He has taught and spoken at universities including Stanford, the University of Chicago, Columbia, Georgetown, the Business Institute of Madrid, Commercial University of Paris, the Integral Leadership Program at Notre Dame University, and was keynote speaker in several occasions at the World Economic Forum and the Interamerican Development Bank Annual Conference. His book Passion for Entrepreneurship – From Idea to Crude Reality was published in Spanish and Portuguese and was a bestseller in several Latin American countries.
With a bachelor's in economics magna cum laude from the University of San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Andy also has a degree in OPM (Owner/President Management) from Harvard Business School.
Andy is married and has four children. He enjoys snow skiing in winter and golf in summer.
