Ritu Narayan

Ritu is a tremendously value-focused, customer-aware, and data-driven product management leader. At eBay the Listing Quality and Seller Guidance initiatives that she is spearheading make customers happy (both Buyers and Sellers) and are essential for eBay's long-term competitiveness. Ritu has tirelessly recruited an outstanding team and gives them the latitude and support to do exceptional work.

In May 2010, I had the good fortune to hire Ritu as the Senior Product Manager leading consumer paid services for Yahoo, including the Connected TV App Store and Yahoo Credits Micropayments for games, avatars, etc. These were game changing initiatives, and came with much controversy and divided opinion. For the Connected TV App Store, Ritu managed to gain agreement on the minimum viable product to get to market quickly. She devised a phased implementation plan and requirements, and oversaw development and qualification of the service in time for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2011. I had very high regard for Ritu's ability to detail plans and gain agreement amidst uncertainty. She has a sensible and pragmatic working style that enables her to push the envelope without ruffling feathers. That, coupled with exceptional leadership and follow-through, earned trust and confidence from all stakeholders. I would highly recommend Ritu and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again.
