Erica Waasdorp was born and raised in the south of the Netherlands, near the German and Belgian border. She moved to the US over 25 years ago to marry an American. People often think she's from the Midwest. Everybody is always astounded at her lack of Dutch accent. She grew up with a wonderful down-to-earth family, of parents who grew up in the Hague during world war II and she's a very grounded but fun person. Erica speaks 5 languages, Dutch,English, German, French and Spanish.
