I've always believed the journey of building meaningful, authentic, and long-lasting relationships, is the most important foundational element of building a successful profession and thriving business. One of my favorite authors and speakers, Esther Perel, says it best: "The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives." I joined Vertex US in 2019 to build a foundation of quality relationships and help our early-stage founders accelerate their growth thoughtfully.
Before Vertex US, I spent two years as Director of Business Development at Dropbox, leading a global team responsible for product ecosystem partnerships, go-to-market, and distribution partnerships.
I was Tesla's Global Head of M&A Integration in 2017, leading integration planning and execution of Grohmann Automation's 700 employees on-site in Germany. In 2015, I became VP of Business Development at Flashpoint, a leader in cybersecurity intelligence.
I enjoyed a long tenure at Juniper Networks, where I held several strategic leadership roles. In my final role as Senior Director of Corporate Development, I was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and partnerships. Before this, I held senior roles at Caymas (acquired by Citrix), and Internet Security Systems (IPO then acquired by IBM for $1.3B).
My tech journey began at BRAK Systems, working closely with our founder, Robert Herjavec of ABC's "Shark Tank", where we pioneered enterprise cybersecurity in Canada and were acquired by AT&T Canada.
Originally from Toronto, I spent the early part of my tech career in NYC, before moving to San Francisco in 2006, where I still live.
