As I reflect on our outstanding AHVAP conference in 2022, one presentation stands out. Not only was his presentation timely and needed by Value Analysis professionals, but it was also a compelling story for the actions and path to connect Value Analysis and Infection Preventionist. It provided example and strategies for both professionals. Dr. Garrett’s natural ability to share information and empower those listening is second to none. Any time you see Dr. Garrett on an agenda you should NOT miss the opportunity to both learn and be inspired. Our industry needs more professionals such as Dr. Garrett!

First time I cried at a conference. Pulled at your heart and made us remember why we chose this field we work in and why we stay no matter how incredibly hard it gets or how defeated we feel at the end of the day. We have a purpose. We save lives. We make a difference. Serious topic delivered in a way that gave so much hope and encouragement for the future. I was expecting the same old reprocessing talk. This was so much better!
