My name is Allen Little with A Little Motivation. I am a TEDx Speaker and the founder of the Accredited Life Coaching Practice, A Little Motivation.
I am a firm believer that the conversations that we have with each other are important, but the most important conversations are the ones we have with ourselves. That is because the conversations we have with ourselves is the filter of how we connect with other human beings. It all starts with our self-talk.
Before the certifications and accreditations, my only goal as a kid was to just motivate my mother. She was a single mom with four kids, two jobs, and one God. Every day watching her struggle inspired me at a very young age to just make her happy. I would tell her how pretty I thought she was when she would look down upon herself. I would inspire her to go to the gym and I would even work out with her when she would get depressed about her weight. As a child, I just didn't understand any reason why my mother shouldn't be happy.
I was blessed to have such a motivational father. Although he and my mother were separated, he was still a very active part of my life. For ten years I lived with him and he instilled into me an unwavering confidence rooted in the greatest love of all. The love that we all have within.
I started speaking with Toastmasters and my first time around I won the area contest against the seven-time champion. That was my affirmation that when you're born with a gift, our creator has a way of telling you when it's time to utilize it. My speech was focused on unity and becoming more of our true selves. Soon I was asked to speak for a presidential candidate and eventually, I gave a TEDx Talk in Chicago. I wish I could say that I worked hard for these accomplishments, but something has been carrying me. A love that lives within all of us has been blessing me again and again and I am forever grateful for this inner guidance.
In addition to my speaking, I have an accredited life coaching practice. The life coaching practice has now had countless people involved. I am truly grateful that I get to be apart of the process of so many people experiencing life transformations weekly. Once people are able to distinguish the story they are telling themselves from the nature of reality. People tend to create their own preferred reality and state of being. Being a full-time entrepreneur is so fulfilling when you align your business with your purpose.
We all have a gift to give the world. The first half of life is the process of discovering that gift. The second half is the process of giving it.
Stay Blessed,
