By providing confident and respected expertise, to keep my clients in compliance with current tax rules and regulations, I have being able to guide them in saving additional costs of operations by identifying ways to reduce possible exposures to great amounts of penalties.
As part of Puerto Rico's professional society, I am seriously committed to contribute to the change we need to drive our economy out of its current situation. As such, I am serving as active member of Tax Committees in the Colegio de CPAs, Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, the PRMA, Asociación de Constructores de PR and the Private Sector Coalition. There, along with other great professionals, I do my part in securing our future.
Being in charge of a 50 person tax department is a day to day challenge which I take with great pride and responsibility. I strive to inspire all of them to become their best. My motto: anticipating the future.
Empowering young women and guide them in achieving their maximum potential is crucial for businesses success across all industries. Participating in the advisory board of Women who lead, gives me the opportunity to share my story and inspire. In addition, taking part in Ellevate's PR chapter allows me to meet exceptional and very successful women. Remember: there is always room for improvement.
My professional contributions are one part of my social responsibility. The other part, the civic part is also important. Rotary International helps me with that. In addition, teaching catechism in my church to young teenagers keep me grounded to our social issues.Thank
