Open Range Band (from Montana)
Making music together for 22 years, Open Range is the duo of Ric Steinke & Linda Hausler performing western, folk, Americana, and swing. From a listening show, to get on your feet and dance music, they'll get your toes a'tappin! They can perform as a duo, a trio, or larger WESTERN SWING BAND.
Their duo instrumentation consists of guitars, steel guitar, dobro, and mandolin, and depending on the show, Native American flute. For a larger band, you'll enjoy three-part harmony, accordion, bass, and possibly fiddle and drums.
If you've ever been to Yellowstone National Park, you may have heard Ric Steinke singing the good old cowboy classics at the chuckwagon cookout, where he's been a solo performer for 18 years.
