Inspirational Author / Speaker

Born and raised on a western Pennsylvania farm, I earned an Agricultural Science Degree from Penn State University and recently retired from Maryland Department of Agriculture after serving as an Agricultural Resource Conservation Specialist for 32 years. I've lived and worked around plants, animals and the rural outdoor environment all my life. I am an avid beekeeper and have been teaching bee classes for Allegany College of Maryland for over 5 years.

Saved at the age of 12 through a summer camp ministry, I have been involved with church and para- church ministries throughout my life's journey. I graduated with honors from the Cornerstone Bible Institute, an outreach of Liberty University involving distance learning classes held in Cumberland, MD. I have served on 4 short-term mission trips out of the country primarily working with youth camps and several within the United States with Heifer International.

I am a double cancer survivor and used my last recovery period to add "author" to my list of accomplishments by writing a book entitled, All Nature Sings, a devotional on animals in the Bible. This 158 page literary work looks at some of the animals found in scripture and how they each point to the one, true God.

Using my life experiences, education and love for the Creator of all things to share insights to a God that wants to be involved with us, His creation. My desire is to share Christ by speaking , teaching, leading outdoor schools or special events so that no one is without excuse.

My ministry approach allows for only the Bible to be the final authority on all things that pertain to life and godliness. God isn't confined to a building or conference room. Sure, we can talk about Him and learn about Him there. But He is the creator of all things and can be most richly seen and understood by looking deeper into His outside canvass. People of all ages can see His wondrous works more passionately if they are willing to look, listen and learn from the One who made it all.
