MN, USHi! I'm Mark Triplett – Author, Speaker, and Photographer.
I love the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, flying airplanes, dark chocolate, gardening and cooking. (Although, my wife Linda is a MUCH better cook than I am.) Oh, and I love morel mushrooms to the max!
My Short Story
My career-life has been spent in various forms of community service, organizational leadership, technology, photography, law enforcement and ministry. Along with my wife Linda we were Founders and Directors of LNF Ministries and the Adam M. Triplett Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501 c.3. organization in Minnesota from 1999 through 2018, serving over 2000 families with grief support and scholarships.
Born and raised in Minnesota, I grew up in a large family of eleven. I earned many awards in sports and love downhill skiing, flying airplanes and exploring nature (especially the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Lake Superior).
I've been married for over 48 years to the most amazing woman (I met her at age 15), we have two children, Katrina and Adam (our son Adam Triplett went to be with the Lord in 1997, click here to read his story). We also have two wonderful grandchildren Morgan and Adam (we call him Opie).
I spent 30 years working for the Phone Company, retiring in 2000, and began my professional photography in 2004, and published my book From Mayhem to Miracles in 2010. Throughout my life I have enjoyed photography, singing and public speaking (yes, I know many folks have a phobia about speaking in front of others but I absolutely love it!).
I've also been a performer – a vocalist. I performed in folk groups, worship teams and choirs, and eventually becoming a worship leader in my church.
