Benjamin Franklin said, “Most people die at 25 and aren't buried until they're 75.” You have dreams/ideas that are either dying to come alive or dying in you. Don't let them die with you. Come alive.

Juan Terrazas is a true inspiration and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. From a young age, Juan faced immense adversity when his parents migrated from Ciudad Juarez to Dallas, TX. But even at the age of five, he understood the value of education and was determined to overcome any obstacle that came his way.

At age 14, Juan faced another challenge when his father was deported to Mexico, and his mother returned to care for her dying father. But Juan refused to let this setback define him. Instead, he chose to stay in Dallas and pursue his education with unwavering determination.

Despite living an unstable life in the inner city, Juan managed to graduate from North Dallas High School in 2008 and received his associate's degree from El Centro Community College shortly after. Throughout this time, Juan remained committed to helping others and volunteered his time at the local Youth With a Mission base (YWAM) to mentor the youth.

In 2015, Juan released his first published book, Left In America (LIA), where he shares his journey of overcoming the obstacles he faced as an undocumented immigrant. LIA became a nonprofit the same year and has since partnered with YWAM to make a positive impact on the youth in Dallas.

Since 2018, Juan has been working at Path United, where he mentors the youth in trailer park homes by guiding them in their academic journey and spiritual growth. His dedication to helping others and his own personal accomplishments are a testament to his strength of character and his unwavering commitment to his values.

As of January 2020, Juan became a U.S. Citizen, and in December of the same year, he graduated from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin with a BA in Communications and a minor in Psychology. This achievement is a promise he made to his family and one of his greatest accomplishments yet.

Juan's passion for inspiring and motivating the youth to reach their full potential is contagious. He has faced incredible challenges in his life but has never lost sight of his goals and his commitment to helping others. Juan Terrazas is a true role model, and his story is a powerful reminder that with hard work, determination, and a strong will, anything is possible.
