TN, USDeborah Levine is a Diversity Futurist and a Forbes Magazine top Diversity & Inclusion Trailblazers. She is an award-winning author of 15 books. Deborah is Founder/Editor-in-Chief of the multi-media platform AmericanDiversityReport.com. She won a National Press Association Award, the 2020 International books of Peace Award, and the 'HerStory Award of th Women's Federation for World Peace. Her articles on diversity are published internationally: Harvard Divinity School Bulletin, Bermudian Magazine, Journal of Ecumenical Studies, Huffington Post, and Journal of Public Management & Social Policy. Her work is featured in: Online Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, and CSPAN BOOKTV.
BACKGROUND: Deborah inherited her passion for confronting bias and hate from her father, a US military intelligence officer assigned to interrogate Nazi prisoners of war in WW II. Deborah developed her cross-cultural expertise as the only Jewish little girl in Bermuda and has earned advanced degrees in the U.S.: cultural anthropology, urban planning, arts administrations and religion.

: The cornerstone of her cutting edge work is her copyrighted Matrix Model Management System - an interactive workbook combining storytelling strategies, emotional intelligence, and decision-making tools. The Matrix System motto is "Harmonize Not Homogenize" and is the cognitive technology underlying her unconscious bias training.
CROSS-CULTURAL COACH:
Her cross-cultural coaching and workshops are tailored for leadership development and diverse team building of internationals in the South. Using the engaging style of Southern storytelling, her book, Going Southern: The No-Mess Guide to Success in the South, combines culture, humor, and tips for expats & US transplants coming into the South and those who work with them.
DIVERSITY TRAINER: As an inclusion pioneer, her focus includes education organizations: school districts, colleges, nonprofits, and universities. She conducts diversity workshops, provides teacher training, and facilitates planning sessions.
INTERFAITH & RELIGIOUS DIVERSITY CONSULTANT:
Her experience in religious diversity spans 33 years beginning as Coordinator of the National Workshop on Christians & Jews. She served as executive director for Jewish Federations in Illinois and Tennessee and as community relations director for Tulsa's Federation. She established the Southeast Women's Council on Diversity, DuPage/Chicago Interfaith Resource Network, and ADR New Beginnings (based on World Interfaith and Harmony Month.) Her multiple books on religious diversity are based on a combination of grass roots experience and academic research.
