Richard and I first met in Toastmasters. As such, I have personally sat in meetings as well as speaking contests and watched (along with others in the audience) in awe as Richard ALWAYS delivers a speech or presentation in an unforgettable way. His attention to detail, down to physical movements such as eye contract and hand coordination while speaking would go unnoticed to the untrained eye. That's because Richard is someone you "experience," and not just "hear" as he's speaking. Considering his long list of accomplishments, he can easily command a room not only with his physical presence and trademark Superman belt, but also with his vocal control. Yet, you will find Richard to be incredibly humble and always willing to receive as well as give constructive feedback. Perhaps what impresses me most about him is his organized, technical approach to public speaking and his willingness to coach others in leveling up their speaking and leadership skills.
