19-year-old rapper Impxct is a member of the SremmLife Crew, the collective comprised of Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee and a number of artists they've been friends with since growing up together in Tupelo. Back in March, the Crew released a mixtape, Trail Mix, and now Impxct is gearing up for the release of his first solo project, called One Of A Kind.
A first taste of that release, due before the end of the year, is "Get It My Way," a clangorous glow-up anthem produced by TL On The Beat. "It cost to be the boss... so I had to get it my way," Impxct said of the track.
