Christina Tinker

VA, US
I am a Corporate Storyteller & Courage Cultivator ™ helping organizations unlock the power of connection and authenticity, especially for female leaders.

Christina Tinker is a gifted speaker and facilitator and a passionate courage cultivator helping individuals, teams, and organizations create inclusive, innovative cultures that drive powerful business results. Christina leverages her extensive background in sales and marketing leadership and public relations entrepreneurship, which spans almost two decades, to drive incredible results in all her professional endeavours.

Christina has been a trailblazer all her life, launching her first successful birthday party business at age 12 with her childhood best friend, Michelle. After college, Christina traveled the world implementing corporate training programs for Dell, NetApp, National Oilwell Varco, Transocean, and many other prestigious organizations. She went on to become a key member of the Executive Team of that organization, leading the Global Sales team to unprecedented success.

From there, Christina joined the ranks of IBM during the time IBM was transforming its core business to become one of the largest and most respected business consulting firms in the world. As a result of joining IBM, Christina spent almost a decade as a senior Sales Executive and top performing revenue contributor in three of the most revered technology firms in the world - IBM, Oracle, and Gartner. Christina was personally responsible for the executive relationships between these firms and organizations like USAA, Frost Bank, NuStar Energy, Harland Clarke, HoltCat and many others.

Additionally in the last decade, Christina launched a non-profit organization, speaking to hundreds of young people, teachers, and coaches on the topics of work life balance, eating disorder prevention, and mental health awareness. She also successfully launched two consulting and training businesses and founded the Richmond Moms Blog, a parenting community and public relations/advertising business that she grew and sold in fall 2018. Christina is currently a co-host on the Richmond, VA Facebook hit show Front Porch Fridays, where she marries her passion for storytelling with her commitment to making meaningful contributions to her local community.

Although she has received many professional awards over the years, Christina is most proud of the trusting relationships she has built with so many incredible leaders throughout her career. When asked, these exceptional clients say without hesitation that it is Christina's authentic leadership, sincere interest in their business success, and courageous spirit that set her apart.

Christina is the oldest of three children born to high school sweethearts from Texas. From an early age, Christina found joy in writing, reading, acting, dancing and sharing stories. Raised by successful, business-minded parents who emphasized the importance of education, hard work, and dedication, Christina followed their guidance to trudge a path for herself in the business world built on a foundation of grit and grace.

In the last nine years, Christina and her husband have moved four times and had three children via two pregnancies. Christina tackles the tough but joyful tasks of marriage and motherhood with the same tenacity and fierce love she brings to her work life every day.
