Joel Goldberg
Inspire authentic connection and lasting trust. Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Joel Goldberg shares powerful lessons from 30+ years in television and Major League Baseball to help organizations build culture, boost communication, and perform with purpose.
When meeting professionals need a speaker who connects authentically and leaves audiences inspired, Joel Goldberg delivers.
An Emmy Award-winning broadcaster with more than 30 years in television and over 25 seasons covering Major League Baseball, Joel brings rare behind-the-scenes access to the leadership, culture, and communication lessons that drive championship-level performance.
As a keynote speaker, storyteller, and podcast host, Joel bridges the gap between sports and business, showing organizations how trust, teamwork, and culture translate directly from the clubhouse to the boardroom.
FROM THE CLUBHOUSE TO THE CONFERENCE STAGE
Joel’s journey into Major League Baseball began in 1999, and since 2008 he’s traveled with the Kansas City Royals as part of their television broadcast team. From spring training to the postseason, Joel has spent decades inside the clubhouse, interviewing icons and observing how teams build chemistry, trust, and belief through every win and loss.
Those experiences now shape his keynote programs, which bring audiences inside the world of professional sports to uncover what championship teams and thriving organizations share in common: connection, communication, and culture.
SIGNATURE KEYNOTE PROGRAMS
Winning Trust – The difference between average and exceptional teams. Built around Joel’s GEM framework (Gradual, Easy, Meaningful), this keynote gives leaders and teams the playbook for earning trust that lasts.

Breaking Barriers in the Ballpark of Change – Designed for organizations navigating transformation, this keynote teaches how to adapt, lead, and thrive when what used to work stops working.
Each program blends powerful storytelling, research-backed insights, and actionable takeaways, delivered with the authenticity and humor that have made Joel a trusted voice on and off the field.
EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSLATES
Joel continues to spend his days on camera as part of Major League Baseball broadcasts while sharing those same lessons from the clubhouse on stages around the country. With more than three decades in live television and professional sports, he’s mastered communication in high-pressure environments, interviewing World Series champions, MVPs, Hall of Famers, CEOs, and entrepreneurs, distilling lessons on leadership, resilience, and performance under pressure.
Through hundreds of conversations on his podcast, Rounding the Bases, Joel continues to explore what drives success in every field, from baseball diamonds to boardrooms, revealing that the foundation of every great story, team, and organization is the same: trust.
TRUSTED BY AUDIENCES EVERYWHERE
Joel resonates with audiences across industries with a dynamic approach that is equal parts authenticity, humor, and heart. He has inspired teams at companies, associations, universities, and nonprofits nationwide, including groups in manufacturing, healthcare, banking insurance and education.
Whether addressing a ballroom of executives or an intimate leadership retreat, Joel’s goal isn’t just to motivate. It’s to create moments of connection that stick long after the applause ends.
"His stories are great reminders of the values we all need to carry with us in all aspects of life, with our clients, teammates, family, friends, and neighbors," said one attendee.

Joel’s presentation on “Winning Trust” was just what I needed to hear. It was very engaging as it tied into his progression over time in the baseball profession. I learned a lot about how far building trust with everyone and anyone can take you so far in life. I look forward to consistently thinking about how I can build trust with those around me at every level in a transformational way and not transactional
