Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace - For Employees
This is an exciting one! In this talk, I unpack EDI as a key factor that affects the Employee Experience ("EX"). It is impossible to talk about the importance of trust within organisations if we do not acknowledge that we have been taught who to trust and who not to trust. Trust is NOT earned. Trust is given!

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace - For Leaders
I present my research on how talent really see inclusion, what it is about inclusion they are looking for, and how leaders and organisational cultures can support the fostering of inclusion to attract, optimize and help retain talent. This is a look at Inclusive Leadership and the decisions we make.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in our Community
The call for greater inclusion requires us to understand that we exist in a society that has a history of exclusion and that this history is alive and well in the behaviours and structures of everyday life. This is such an important conversation to talk about EDI in our communities as we need to understand that no matter how hard organisations may try, we can never deflect the social ills, mistrust, fear and anger that exists in our communities from entering the workplace.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Home
Workplaces demand us to "be professional" and to leave all our "baggage" at home and to show up as sanitized humans ready to be productive. EDI understands that the personal cannot be divorced from the professional. EDI shows up in the home as a place where our beliefs are formed, a space where we have to "call out" loved ones, engage with ideological clashes and navigate tension and conflict.

"being so young and having achieved as much as he has, is motivation enough; he is realistic and honest; his presentation encourages participation; school children would rather listen to someone younger than to someone older"

"If you and your team/staff is ready to tackle inclusion and diversity head on, get Roy to facilitate the discussion- he is brave enough to address difficult topics and ask the questions that you have in your mind, but are too afraid/unsure to ask"

For the first time, in a long time, I listened again. Roy brought the topic that has become a whine in the background for me, valid again and of value and down to a level that I can understand and relate to. He gave real examples to think about and consider.

Verificado @sap.comRoy is incredibly good at what he does and is able to create a space where everyone feels comfortable to share, listen and learn. The company I work for brought him in for a session and we were left in a position whereby we better understood each other and could create a work environment where we could not only survive in but thrive in. His offering is extremely important for the inclusive workplaces we would like to create.
